The Department of Health and Social Care consists of two areas of operation: Special housing and health care services as well as home care and the authority unit. We are a total of about 370 employees. Location: Authority Unit, Rönnevägen 6C, Sölvesborg Municipality.

The Authority Unit consists of employees with broad competence and extensive experience in the field. In addition to case officers, the unit includes a homecoming team, fee administrators, and an elderly curator.

We are now looking for a temporary case officer for the summer of 2026. As a new summer colleague with us, you will receive a tailored introduction to the work and you will be part of a team with other case officers whom you will support in certain areas during the summer.

JOB DUTIES

As a case officer, you primarily work with informing, investigating, assessing, and deciding on interventions according to the Social Services Act, as well as following up and reassessing granted interventions. We work with case handling according to the IBIC model.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree that corresponds to the area of responsibility, such as a degree in social work, social care, or other equivalent education that includes social law. You are also welcome to apply if you are a social work student with completed courses in law. Previous experience in public authority work is considered an advantage.

You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and can adapt the information to the individuals you meet in your work.

The work as a case officer involves meetings with various people and requires social skills, being attentive, and interested in creating good encounters. To succeed in this, the ability to create clarity and trust is necessary.

You are positive, flexible, and accustomed to structuring and organizing as well as prioritizing tasks in your work. You enjoy problem-solving and can take your own initiatives as the work requires a high degree of personal responsibility. We see the ability to collaborate as well as work independently as important. Personal suitability is highly valued.

A B driver's license for a manual car is required.
